For US players, the closest thing to no ID verification casinos is a set of state-licensed alternatives: big brands that make signing up feel close to document-free.
The big state-licensed casinos verify most new players automatically, in the sign-up form, by matching your name, date of birth, address and the last four digits of your Social Security number against third-party and government databases. If that match succeeds, you never upload a document. Photo ID only comes into play when the automatic check fails, and at some brands before a first withdrawal.
This page goes state by state through where each casino operates, what sign-up asks for, how geolocation and self-exclusion work, and how winnings are taxed in 2026. The three casinos below operate in four or five states each.

No ID Verification Casino Reviews for US Players
FanDuel Casino: The Widest State Footprint for Verified Play

FanDuel Casino is the brand on this page you can use in the most states. It appears on the regulator lists in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia, and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection names FanDuel as one of only two online casino options in that state. One detail matters for Connecticut players: FanDuel’s own support page says play there runs “through our partners at the Mohegan Sun”, so the Connecticut product carries the Mohegan Sun name rather than the FanDuel Casino brand.
Verification at FanDuel takes place during registration. You provide your name, date of birth, address and the last four digits of your SSN, which a third-party agency then verifies. FanDuel states that once the information matches, the screen displays “You’re verified”. You have three attempts. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, an additional step applies: a handful of knowledge-based questions taken from public records, like previous addresses or vehicles. According to FanDuel, the private information used for this purpose is deleted once verification is complete.
If all three attempts fail, FanDuel asks for an “ID Scan”: photos of the front and back of an unexpired driver’s license or state ID card, sometimes with a selfie. FanDuel does not accept passports for this step, which is worth knowing if you do not drive. The NJ lobby we captured shows an Exclusives category, FanDuel-branded live dealer tables and a daily Reward Machine spin, and the site promotes a “My Spend” tool for checking your deposit and withdrawal habits.
Pros
- Five states on regulator lists, the most of any brand reviewed here
- Automated check at sign-up, so most players never upload a document
- Spin winnings from the NJ welcome offer carry no wagering requirement
- Debit card, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Play+ payouts within 24 hours after approval (operator-stated)
Cons
- Passports are not accepted when the automatic check fails
- Knowledge-based questions add a step in NJ, PA and CT
- No credit card deposits for FanDuel Casino in the US
- In Connecticut the product is branded Mohegan Sun, not FanDuel Casino

BetMGM Casino: Five Automated Attempts Before Any Document

BetMGM Casino is on the regulator lists in New Jersey (under the Borgata license), Pennsylvania, Michigan (with MGM Grand Detroit) and West Virginia, where the WV Lottery list shows BetMGM, LLC under license IGP 002. One account covers casino, sportsbook and poker, and the mobile lobby we captured in New Jersey opens on Live Dealer, New Games and Jackpots tabs with a grid of exclusive games.
BetMGM’s help centre is direct about why it asks for your data: it says New Jersey regulations require a Know Your Customer process to verify identity, age 21 and a valid mailing address, and that name, date of birth, SSN and address must be verified before you deposit. The sign-up form asks for the last four digits of your SSN, and BetMGM runs what it calls automated verification. You get up to five automated attempts, which is more room for a typo than FanDuel’s three. You cannot deposit until verification is complete.
If the automated route fails, you upload documents and BetMGM says normal verification time is 24 to 48 hours. A US driver’s license or state ID card covers both identity and address; otherwise you need one ID document (passport, passport card, military ID or Permanent Resident Card) plus a recent bank statement or utility bill. BetMGM also asks for an official photo ID for your first payout, so a fully automated sign-up does not mean you will never show a document.
Pros
- Up to five automated verification attempts at sign-up
- Accepts a passport or military ID when documents are needed
- In NJ, Bonus Spin winnings carry no wagering
- Cash withdrawals can be collected at the Borgata cage in Atlantic City
Cons
- Photo ID required for the first payout
- Internal withdrawal review of up to 3 to 5 days before the payout clock starts
- Wheel deposit-match prizes carry 15x wagering within 14 days
- In PA and MI, Bonus Spin winnings carry 10x wagering

Caesars Palace Online Casino: Automatic Checks, Different Rules in Michigan

Caesars Palace Online Casino appears on the New Jersey DGE list under Caesars Interactive Entertainment New Jersey (an affiliate of Tropicana Atlantic City), on the Pennsylvania list under the Harrah’s Philadelphia certificate, and on the Michigan list with the Grand Traverse Band, where the regulator marks the Caesars Palace Online site as “mobile only”. In West Virginia, the WV Lottery list names the operating company, American Wagering, Inc., under license IGP 004; it does not name the casino brand itself, and Caesars’ own West Virginia terms are what show the brand runs there. Our screenshot is the public New Jersey offer page, because the casino lobby would not load during capture.
At sign-up Caesars asks for your name, address, phone number, date of birth, the last four digits of your SSN and two security questions. Its New Jersey terms say the SSN “will be automatically verified by us, along with other information you provide”. Caesars says the SSN digits are collected “to verify your age and help protect against fraud”. Two-factor authentication by SMS is mandatory in New Jersey, which Caesars attributes to state regulations.
If the automatic screen does not pass, an additional review runs through GeoComply, and Caesars asks for two documents: a government-issued photo ID and a utility bill, uploaded through the account’s secure document area. Caesars does not state how long that review takes. Its terms also warn that verification checks “may result in a negative impact on Your credit report”, a point worth knowing before you sign up.
Pros
- Automatic SSN-based check at sign-up
- $1 minimum for digital withdrawals; $5 minimum digital deposit
- Debit card withdrawals: “many transactions post within an hour” once approved (operator-stated)
- Play earns Caesars Rewards credits
Cons
- No verification time stated for the document route
- Two documents (photo ID plus utility bill) when the automatic check fails
- Michigan access is mobile only
- The match bonus needs 15x wagering within 7 days ($15,000 on a $1,000 bonus)

Why US Online Casinos Ask for ID
The ID check comes from two layers of law. The first is federal. The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA) bars gambling businesses from accepting payments for “unlawful Internet gambling”, but it does not decide what is unlawful; it borrows that from state and other federal law (31 U.S.C. 5362(10)(A)). The important part for this page is the intrastate exception in §5362(10)(B). A bet placed entirely within one state, under that state’s law, is outside UIGEA if the state’s rules include “age and location verification requirements reasonably designed to block access to minors and persons located out of such State”. Put simply, the federal exception that lets state online casinos exist depends on them checking your age and your location.
The second layer is the state’s own law and regulations, covered state by state below. Each state lists its reasons in its own words: keeping out players under 21, keeping play inside the state, checking self-exclusion lists, and detecting fraud. Michigan’s act tells operators to detect and prevent “fraud, money laundering, and collusion” (MCL 432.311(3)).
Money laundering rules add a third reason. Under 31 CFR 1010.100(t)(5), FinCEN treats a casino licensed under state law with more than $1 million in gross annual gaming revenue as a “casino” under the Bank Secrecy Act. That brings the duties in 31 CFR Part 1021: an anti-money-laundering programme with identity procedures, currency transaction reports for cash over $10,000, suspicious activity reports, and, for each deposit account, a record of name, permanent address and SSN checked against an identity document. Michigan (R 432.642) and Rhode Island (Rule 20.43(D)) write Bank Secrecy Act compliance straight into their casino rules.
Tax reporting is the last reason. A casino that pays a reportable win must issue a Form W-2G, and it cannot do that without your name and taxpayer number. Our guide to casino ID verification walks through the documents in more detail.
No ID Verification Step by Step: What Happens When the Database Check Fails
Here is how the regulated “no ID” flow plays out in practice, using the rules and the operators’ help pages.
- You open the sign-up form while physically in the state and enter your legal name, date of birth, home address (not a PO box in NJ, MI or WV), email, phone and the last four digits of your SSN.
- The casino sends that data to a third-party verification service. In New Jersey, the DGE’s Know Your Customer requirements demand an exact match on date of birth, SSN and last name, with some flexibility on first name and address, plus one extra authentication step such as knowledge-based questions or a device and phone match.
- If everything matches, the account opens and you can deposit. This is the path most players take, and it involves no document upload.
- Say it fails because you recently moved and the database still has your old address. At FanDuel you get three tries; at BetMGM up to five, so check each field for typos and make sure the address is the one where you currently receive mail before trying again.
- If the attempts run out, the casino switches to documents: a driver’s license or state ID at FanDuel, an ID plus a utility bill at Caesars, an ID plus a recent bank statement or utility bill at BetMGM when the ID does not show your current address.
- A person reviews the upload. BetMGM states 24 to 48 hours; Caesars and FanDuel do not give a figure. No state rule sets a deadline.
Even after step 3, a casino can ask for documents later. BetMGM asks for photo ID before a first payout, and Caesars’ terms reserve the right to request ID, proof of address or a photo of you holding your ID at any time. If fast cashouts are your priority, our page on no ID casino instant withdrawal covers payout speeds in detail.
No ID Casinos USA State by State
No state-licensed online casino in the United States lets you play for real money without checking who you are. Real-money online casino is allowed in only seven states (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island), every one of them sets the minimum age at 21, and every one requires the casino to confirm your identity and your physical location before you can wager. The licenses of the three casinos on this page were checked against the state regulators’ own lists on 5 October 2026, and the sections below cover who regulates online casinos in each state, what each state’s rules require at sign-up and which brands hold a license there.
All seven states require your full legal name, date of birth, address and SSN (or a passport or taxpayer number for foreign players) before real-money play, checked by what the rules call multi-source authentication. The differences are in the detail, and they decide which brands you can use.
No ID Verification Casinos in New Jersey
New Jersey is regulated by the Division of Gaming Enforcement, which publishes the Internet Gaming Authorized Sites list. The DGE says any site not on that list “is NOT approved to offer Internet gaming in the State of New Jersey.” The law is the Casino Control Act’s internet gaming article (N.J.S.A. 5:12-95.17 to -95.33, P.L.2013, c.27). Online play began with a soft launch on 21 November 2013 and full operations on 25 November 2013.
The sign-up rule is N.J.A.C. 13:69O-1.3(b): the casino must verify legal name, date of birth, full or last-four SSN and residential address (no PO box), record email and phone, use multi-source authentication as the main method, and confirm you are 21 or older and not self-excluded. Location is covered by N.J.A.C. 13:69O-1.2(e): “Internet gaming shall only occur within the State of New Jersey.”
The DGE list groups sites by Atlantic City casino licensee, and it is the longest of the seven. FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars Palace Online are all on it, as are BetRivers, Fanatics, DraftKings, bet365, Hard Rock Bet, Golden Nugget and Borgata.
No ID Verification Casinos in Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulates online casino under 4 Pa.C.S. Chapter 13B and the rules in 58 Pa. Code Subpart L. Its Interactive Gaming Operators page lists 24 interactive gaming brands with their site addresses and tells players to use it to check that a site is PGCB regulated.
58 Pa. Code 812a.2 sets the registration rule: legal name, date of birth, SSN (full or last four), address, email and phone. The operator must either examine a government credential and record its number, or use Board-approved remote multi-source authentication, and must confirm you are 21 and not self-excluded. 58 Pa. Code 809a.7 requires location checks at login and continuous monitoring during the session.
Brands on the PGCB lists include FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars Palace (under the Harrah’s Philadelphia certificate), plus DraftKings, BetRivers, Fanatics, bet365, Golden Nugget and Borgata.
No ID Verification Casinos in Michigan
The Michigan Gaming Control Board licenses online casinos under the Lawful Internet Gaming Act (2019 PA 152, MCL 432.301 et seq.) and the Internet Gaming Rules, R 432.611 to 432.676. Its list of authorized platform providers pairs each Detroit casino or tribe with the brand it works with. The MGCB announced that online gaming and sports betting went live on 22 January 2021.
Michigan’s rule is stated in both the statute and the rules. MCL 432.311 requires mechanisms “designed to reasonably verify” that a player is 21 or older and located in Michigan before an account is opened or a wager is placed. R 432.655 sets out the account file: legal name, date of birth, SSN or its last four digits, residential address (no PO box), email and phone, verified by reliable ID or remote multi-source authentication. R 432.631 requires a geofence that monitors your location for the whole session.
On the MGCB list: FanDuel (with MotorCity Casino), BetMGM (with MGM Grand Detroit) and Caesars (with the Grand Traverse Band, the Caesars Palace Online site marked mobile only), plus DraftKings, BetRivers, Fanatics, bet365, Hard Rock Bet and Golden Nugget.
No ID Verification Casinos in West Virginia
In West Virginia the regulator is the West Virginia Lottery, under the Lottery Interactive Wagering Act (W. Va. Code 29-22E) and rule 179CSR10. The Lottery’s i-Gaming License List, dated 1 October 2026, is the only state list that gives license numbers. The first operator license on it was issued on an interim basis on 7 July 2020.
179CSR10 §7.2 requires a patron file with legal name, date of birth, full or last-four SSN, residential address (no PO box), email and phone, verified by remote multi-sourced authentication, and a check that you are 21, not self-excluded and not otherwise barred. §13 requires geolocation for the whole session.
The list shows FanDuel (IGP 007), BetMGM (IGP 002) and American Wagering, Inc., the Caesars company (IGP 004), along with DraftKings (IGP 001), BetRivers (IGP 005), Golden Nugget (IGP 006) and Fanatics (IGP 008). bet365’s company holds IGP 014, though we could not confirm a live West Virginia casino site.
No ID Verification Casinos in Connecticut
The Department of Consumer Protection Gaming Division regulates online casino under Public Act 21-23 and Conn. Gen. Stat. 12-850 et seq. Its Legal Gaming in CT page says: “Consumers may participate in online casino gaming through DraftKings or FanDuel.” Those are the only two. Online casino and sports wagering had a seven-day soft launch from 12 October 2021 and launched fully on 19 October 2021.
Connecticut has the strictest sign-up rule of the seven. Regs. Conn. State Agencies 12-865-12 calls for a “comprehensive identity check” covering name, date of birth, address, last four SSN digits and a government ID or taxpayer number, plus identity questions such as previous addresses unless the DCP approves an equal method. The self-exclusion database must be checked before an account opens. Section 12-865-9 requires geolocation at login, at app open and at each wager. Of the brands reviewed above, only FanDuel operates here, through its Mohegan Sun partnership.
No ID Verification Casinos in Delaware
Delaware runs online casino through the Delaware Lottery under 29 Del. C. 4826. Its iGaming page lists three sites, one for each video lottery agent: Delaware Park, Bally’s Dover and Harrington, all on platforms “powered by BetRivers”. None of the three brands reviewed above is available in Delaware. The Lottery’s press release dates public launch to 7 November 2013, when the age was 18; it is now 21 under 29 Del. C. 4810.
The sign-up rule, 10 Del. Admin. Code 206 §13.4-13.10, asks for full name, address, cell phone, email, date of birth and SSN. Delaware’s rule asks for the SSN itself, not just the last four digits. The system must check the Delaware exclusion list before registration is complete, and the statute bars any game unless the equipment can verify that you are physically in the state.
No ID Verification Casinos in Rhode Island
Rhode Island is the newest online casino state. Its iGaming law (R.I. Gen. Laws 42-61.2-3.4 and 42-61.2-17) took effect on 1 March 2024. Online casino is state-operated through the Rhode Island Lottery, with Bally’s Lincoln and Tiverton as the only hosting facilities and Bally’s as platform vendor, so there is one online casino in the state: Bally Bet Casino. We found no public list of authorized sites on the Lottery’s website.
Under RI Lottery Rules 20.43(C) and 20.51, no account can be used until identity and age are confirmed. Registration must record and verify identity, date of birth, physical address and last four SSN digits, and if online verification fails, a document “Confirmation Process” (for example a driver’s license or passport) can be used. Wagers are accepted only from players located in Rhode Island, though the rules let out-of-state players log in to deposit, withdraw or change settings.
How Geolocation Works at No ID Casinos in the USA
Identity is only half of the check. Every state also requires the casino to confirm, at login and throughout your session, that you are physically inside its borders. Residency does not matter: BetMGM’s help centre says New Jersey residency is not required, but you must be physically in New Jersey to register and play. A Pennsylvania resident on a trip to Atlantic City can play at a New Jersey site, and a New Jersey resident in Florida cannot play at all.
The casinos use specialist location software. On a desktop, both BetMGM and FanDuel require a geolocation plug-in. Caesars says it confirms desktop location from your IP address and Wi-Fi signal, and mobile location from the cell tower and Wi-Fi. Play is refused if the location cannot be confirmed.
The operators’ help pages list the things that cause a legitimate player to fail:
- Wi-Fi switched off (BetMGM says Wi-Fi must be on)
- A wired Ethernet connection, which FanDuel says will not pass its location check
- VPN, VNC or remote-desktop software running on the device, which BetMGM and FanDuel both say causes geolocation to fail
- Being near a state line, where BetMGM checks more often and FanDuel says you may need to move further into the state
These checks exist because the state law that makes the game lawful only covers play inside that state, which is also the condition of UIGEA’s intrastate exception. Trying to mask your location breaks the state’s rules and the casino’s terms. If you are out of state you cannot wager, though BetMGM says you can still access your account, and Rhode Island’s rules let out-of-state players log in to deposit, withdraw or change settings.
Self-Exclusion at No ID Casinos Across US States
Verification serves a purpose here: self-exclusion only works if the casino can identify you, since an exclusion list is meaningless otherwise. Every state operates its own programme, and that programme applies within that state alone.
- New Jersey: the DGE Self-Exclusion Program covers Atlantic City casinos and internet gaming. You can enrol for internet gaming online through the DGE portal or from your casino account, for 1 year, 5 years or lifetime.
- Pennsylvania: the PGCB keeps a separate iGaming self-exclusion list with 1-year, 5-year and lifetime options and online enrolment. iGaming exclusions end when the chosen period ends.
- Michigan: the MGCB’s Responsible Gaming Database lets you exclude yourself from all Michigan online gaming and online sports betting.
- West Virginia: the Lottery’s Voluntary Exclusion Program “also applies to mobile applications and online gaming”. The separate iPlay lottery-account exclusion does not cover online casino.
- Connecticut: one DCP self-exclusion request covers all legal gaming in the state, online and in person, for 1 year, 5 years or lifetime.
- Delaware: the Lottery’s iGaming self-exclusion covers the three casinos and their iGaming websites for 1 year, 5 years or lifetime. Enrolment is in person at the Lottery office.
- Rhode Island: the Lottery rules require the hosting facilities to run self-exclusion programmes and the platform to offer a self-exclusion tool. We found no state online enrolment page for iGaming.
Because each list belongs to one state, a player who travels between, say, New Jersey and Pennsylvania should enrol in both. Operators keep their own lists as well: Michigan’s rules require them (R 432.674), and Rhode Island’s require the platform to offer limits, time-outs and self-exclusion (Rule 20.53(B)). More on the tools is on our responsible gambling page.
Taxes on Winnings from No ID Casinos in the US
Gambling winnings are taxable income whether or not the casino sends you a form. What changed for 2026 is when the form arrives and how much of your losses you can deduct.
The W-2G threshold is $2,000 in 2026. The IRS instructions for Form W-2G (Rev. 01/2026) set a minimum reporting threshold of $2,000 for payments made in 2026, indexed to inflation from 2027. The change comes from a July 2025 federal law (Pub. L. 119-21), which raised the general threshold from $600. Slots and bingo used to report at $1,200 and keno at $1,500; proposed regulations published in IRB 2026-19 would align those to $2,000. For table games, a W-2G needs both a win of at least the threshold and a payout of at least 300 times the wager, which is why blackjack and roulette wins rarely trigger one.
Losses are deductible at 90%. From tax year 2026, IRC §165(d) allows a deduction equal to 90% of your wagering losses, and only up to your winnings. You can only claim it if you itemize.
A worked example. Suppose in 2026 you hit a $2,500 slot jackpot on a $2 spin. That is above $2,000, so the casino issues a W-2G and needs your name and SSN to do it. Over the year your total winnings come to $10,000 and your total losses to $10,000, so you broke even.
- Winnings reported as income: $10,000
- Deductible losses: 90% of $10,000 = $9,000 (under the $10,000 cap)
- Gambling income left to tax: $1,000
Under the pre-2026 rules the same year would have netted to zero. If instead your losses were $14,000, 90% would be $12,600, but the deduction is capped at your $10,000 of winnings, so taxable gambling income is zero. If you do not itemize, you get no loss deduction at all and the full $10,000 counts as income.
Now a table-game case: you win $2,500 on a $10 blackjack hand. That is 250 times the bet, below the 300x test, so no W-2G is issued. The $2,500 is still income you must report. State income tax on gambling winnings depends on where you live and is not covered here; check your state tax agency.
Offshore No ID Casinos and US Players
Sites that let US players gamble without any ID check are offshore casinos. They are not licensed in any US state, so no state regulator oversees them. A player using one has no state regulator to complain to, no access to the state self-exclusion programmes, and none of the protections that the state rules give players. FinCEN has said that online gaming sites not licensed as casinos in the United States are not “casinos” under the Bank Secrecy Act but likely money transmitters. For crypto, the regulated picture is covered on our no ID crypto casinos page, and our homepage sets out how verification works across licensed brands.
No ID Casino USA FAQ
Are no ID casinos legal in the US?
Not in the sense the search suggests. Real-money online casino is legal in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island, and each of those states requires identity, age and location checks before you play. What exists legally is fast, automatic verification: brands such as FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars Palace Online match your details against databases at sign-up, so most players never upload a document. Casinos that skip verification are offshore and not licensed in any state.
Why do US online casinos need my Social Security number?
State rules require it. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut and Rhode Island accept the last four digits; Delaware’s rule asks for the SSN itself. The number lets the casino match you against credit and government databases to confirm your name, age and address without documents. It also supports anti-money-laundering duties under federal FinCEN rules and lets the casino issue a Form W-2G for reportable wins. Caesars says it collects the digits to verify your age and help protect against fraud.
How long does ID verification take at US online casinos?
When the automatic database check passes, verification happens during sign-up and you can deposit straight away. No state rule sets a time limit for the document route. Of the brands on this page, only BetMGM states a figure: 24 to 48 hours once documents are submitted. FanDuel and Caesars Palace Online do not publish a review time. BetMGM asks that your name match your driver’s license or passport and that your address be where you currently receive mail.
Can I play at a US online casino while I am in another state?
Only if you are physically inside a state where that casino holds a license. Residency does not matter, location does. A New Jersey account works while you are in New Jersey; if you travel to Pennsylvania you need to be on a Pennsylvania site, and BetMGM and Caesars run separate state sites. In a state without online casino, the geolocation check blocks wagering. You can usually still log in to see your balance, and Rhode Island’s rules let you deposit and withdraw from out of state.
What age do you have to be to play online casino games in the US?
You must be 21 in all seven online casino states. The age is written into each state’s rules, for example N.J.A.C. 13:69O-1.3(b), 58 Pa. Code 812a.2, MCL 432.311 and 179CSR10 §7.2.5. Delaware launched in 2013 with an age of 18 but raised it to 21 by statute. Age verification is also a condition of the federal UIGEA intrastate exception, so the database check at sign-up is first of all an age check.
Do I get a tax form for online casino winnings in 2026?
You get a Form W-2G if a single win reaches the reporting threshold, which is $2,000 for payments made in 2026, and for table games also at least 300 times your stake. All winnings are taxable whether or not a form is issued. From 2026, if you itemize, you can deduct only 90% of your gambling losses, and only up to your winnings, so a break-even year can still leave taxable income. Keep your own records of wins and losses.
Does self-exclusion in one state cover other states?
No. Each state runs its own list: the DGE programme in New Jersey, the PGCB iGaming list in Pennsylvania, Michigan’s Responsible Gaming Database, the WV Lottery’s Voluntary Exclusion Program, Connecticut’s DCP list and the Delaware Lottery’s iGaming programme. If you might play in more than one state, enrol in each. Casinos must check the state list at sign-up, which is one reason they verify your identity before opening an account.
Responsible Gambling for US Players at No ID Casinos
Quick registration gets you playing right away, which is why it helps to set a spending limit ahead of your first deposit and hold to it. FanDuel features a “My Spend” tool on its lobby where you can review your deposit and withdrawal patterns, and every state offers a self-exclusion programme you can join whenever you choose. Should gambling stop feeling enjoyable, reach out to someone early on. Support is free and confidential:
